1979 - 1985
Formed the video distribution company HVC Videovision AS and ran the company as partner until 1985. During period refinanced ‘ACCESS CODE’ and fully financed ‘TERMINAL ENTRY’ with Intercontinental releasing Corp. Co. (Co-executive producer Sandy Cobe). The company imported and distributed approximately 250 movies in Scandinavia.
1985
Sold HVC Videovision and formed TBA Film AS, a distribution, production and financing company. Financed ‘A FILM ABOUT LOVE’ (Norwegian / Swedish co-production), and part financed ‘THE FOURTH PROTOCOL’ to obtain Scandinavian distribution rights. (Executive Producers Fredrick Forsyth & Michael Caine)
1986 - 1991
Established TBJ Film Inc. as a world-wide distribution / production company in Los Angeles. Financed, produced and distributed approximately 15 films. Productions under own banner included:

- ‘OUT TO LUNCH’ Exec. Producer
- ‘TAKE TWO’ Exec. Producer & small acting part
- ‘OUTLAW FORCE’ Exec. Producer / writer & small acting part
- ‘THE GAME’ Producer / writer & small acting part
- ‘BUDO WARRIOR’ Director / producer & narration
- ‘MOUNTAIN KILL’ Director / writer & acting part
First Assistant Director on seven commercials with Producer / Director Thom Keith.
Wrote, produced and directed two commercials for Jackman Chocolate Company, Dallas, Texas. Wrote three scripts with co-writer / director Dave M. Evans (‘S.W.A.T, CODENAME GOLIATH’ and ‘DANGEROUS HOUSE’)
1991 - 2004
Tom specialised in television and with various production companies - working on documentaries, commercials and various TV productions. He produced and directed approximately forty television shows, including multi-camera shows and sporting events.
His television career also included approximately 150 national news-spots, approximately 60 commercials, work as Producer / Editor / Journalist with KANAL 1, ATV and TV Vest / TV Norway, plus several short films for television, including the award-winning ‘ Never Stop Asking WHY’, produced with his daughter and partner, Heidi V. Jensen.
He was awarded Best National News-spot among local television stations for 1998 as producer and editor of a freefall parachuting story.
Tom’s military service included 18 months as ‘Quartermaster First Class’ at The Norwegian Naval Academy. He trained cadets in small arms / field operations and obtained a place on the Norwegian national fencing team. He represented Norway on the national team in practical pistol shooting (IPSC-style) in four European Championships. In his television career, he has also trained camera operators, journalists and editors and he is considered as a solution-oriented producer and coach. Tom is also known for taking a creative approach to problem solving.
